Position Title: Data Entry Operator
Equivalent to BPS-12 | Contract-based Appointment
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have passed Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent) from a recognized board or institution. Additionally, candidates must possess a 6-month diploma or certification in computer applications from a recognized training institute.
Technical Skills:
A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute (WPM) in English is required. Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and data entry operations, will be highly advantageous.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 18 and 33 years of age. This includes all admissible age relaxations as per Punjab Government rules.

The online application portal will be open from May 16, 2025, and the last date to submit the application is May 25, 2025. No application will be accepted after the deadline.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via SMS or email for the next steps in the recruitment process, which may include a written test, typing test, or interview.

This recruitment is strictly on a contract basis, and there is no guarantee of permanent appointment or regularization in the future.

The department reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the number of posts at any time without assigning any reason.

No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test or interview.

Employees already working in government or semi-government institutions must apply through proper channels and attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their current department.

If any candidate is found to have submitted false documents or fake information or has been involved in any criminal case or FIR, their candidacy will be cancelled immediately, and legal action may be taken.

The final decision of appointment will rest with the competent authority in light of the prevailing policies and after due evaluation of the candidates’ qualifications, performance in tests/interviews, and verification of documents.
