The Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments/Garrisons) Directorate, operating under the Ministry of Defence, has announced a major recruitment drive for Teaching jobs 2025 This employment opportunity is open for Pakistani nationals on a contract basis for one year, which is extendable for another year if required. The recruitment includes 300 secondary school teachers (SST – BS-17) and 400 trained graduate teachers (TGT – BS-16). The appointments will be made according to the government-approved quota system, covering all provinces and special regions like FATA, AJK, GB, etc.

The positions are divided by gender, province, merit, and minority quotas. The distribution of seats is as follows:

  • Secondary School Teacher (SST – BS-17):

    • Male: 150 seats

    • Female: 150 seats

  • Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT – BS-16):

    • Male: 200 seats

    • Female: 200 seats

A detailed quota-wise breakdown is given in the advertisement. Punjab has the largest share (50%), followed by Sindh (Rural and Urban), KPK, Balochistan, and others. Non-Muslim quota seats are also reserved.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have at least a second-class or grade ‘C’ master’s degree (16 years of education) from a university recognized by HEC.

  • A B.Ed or equivalent professional qualification is required.

  • Alternatively, an M.A in Educational Planning and Management (EPM) is acceptable.

For TGT (BS-16):

  • A second-class or grade ‘C’ bachelor’s degree (14 years of education) in a relevant subject from a university recognized by HEC.

  • A B.Ed or equivalent professional teaching qualification is also necessary.
